Learn to trust yourself more.

was thinking about some of my life decisions yesterday, and the difference between regret when I didn’t listen to someone else’s advice, versus regret when I didn’t listen to my own better judgment. 

I realized that the second kind of regret is way harder to live with. 

“I knew better” is a harder pill to swallow than “I should have listened.” 

Ahead of the July 4th holiday, I pray: May we have the independence and courage to trust ourselves more 🙏🏽
